My mission

Welcome to Feeding America's children.  We are a country rich with resources, yet have hungry children.

I wonder how this can be?  I am older now and know exactly how this happens.  People with the power not using the power for everyone equally.  How do I help?  How do I change a system so broken that we in America have hungry children?
My mission is to ask every person I come in contact with, How do we feed America's Children.
Help me with the asking?  Help me with the feeding of America's children.
Let's start working together, talking together and coming up with a plan to feed America's children.

  1. Hello, Try this, take $10.00 this week and buy, 10 bars of soap, $10.00 worth of cereal or $10.00 worth of beans and donate the items to a local food bank. Then the food bank can help more people and you have done a very good thing.

  2. I like the post above. When we clip coupons we often clip them for things we don't need. These things are in turn donated to church.. there is a box we can drop items in for the pantry to offer at no charge to families in need.

  3. Great idea Anne Marie, thanks for the help.
How do we get the idea out to more folks so more of us can start doing it?

  4. Anyway here is what I wanted to say.

If you are a on a budget sometimes $5 will become more than $10 at Dollar tree. Some veggie cans are two or three for one dollar.
You can also give or yourself which is what I did for Katrina victims. My fee $0 dollars. What I gave back to them was all they thought they had left in life and gone forever not so. really said by

  5. that's a good question. I see more and more things like this when you blog hop or even posted on FB. use social media to pump it up :)
We have been known to get items even for FREE and have it donated.
possibly contact your local girl scouts- there has to be a girl who is trying to get the final achievement. even a boy trying to get and Eagle Scout.. they could carry the message far!!
